The new Top 5 in the ESPN/Coaches Poll...

(First place votes in parentheses)

2. Texas (2) <---
3. Oklahoma
4. Tennessee
5. Florida St (1) <---</pre><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Are you kiddin' me? Texas ranked #1 over that Miami team that we saw yesterday?!? LMAO! Miami would eat Chrissy Simms for lunch.

...and I don't think FSU is chomping at the bit to get a piece of the 'Canes right now either.

I thought Florida would beat Miami yesterday...man, was I wrong. Miami is an absolute machine! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" />

for Texas and Florida State as #1, should be
stripped of their voting rights.

Actually, a defending Champion should always be
#1 until they are beaten on the field.

The biggest problem I have with the top 5 is
with Oklahoma. They have shown nothing.

But they will be gone by year's end, so it is a
mute point.

Miami is tough...Hell, they are always tough.

The Gaytors...well...It is possible you saw with
your own eyes why Spurrier demoted Zook from Def
Coordinator when he was an assistant there.

They sure weren't the same Gaytors that we've seen for the past 12 years...huh?

Texas has always been and will always be inevitably and hopelessly OVER-RATED. Why? They are hardly ever deserving of the high rankings that they receive.
