So I have comcast coming into the house. It is hooked up to the computer in the den. I want to get a wireless router and hook up a Dell laptop I have. What do I do? I am clueless.

All you have to do is plug the wireless router into the computer where your internet connection is and buy a wireless adapter for your laptop for about 40 bucks. Install the software and plug it up.

Make sure you configure the wireless router securely... unless you want everyone to be able to access your local network as well as use your internet...
