Sons of Anarchy - Coopdaddy67 - 09-07-2010 10:56 PM

Welcome back, I've missed you so much!

Talk about a great way to begin the new season. With Lost gone, this may be the best show on television. 04-rock

I thought it was the best show on TV last season. The first episode of Season two with the rape was absolutely crazy. THen the entire season was just balls to the wall intensity.

Hell of an ending tonight... did not see that coming with Hale.

Cannot wait for this season.

Yea tried to keep my comments vague enough that people who have not watched it would not be too tipped off.

Season 1 is really good...particularly late in the season when it really picks up...from that point on it just gets better. Great show.

Welcome back, indeed. Favorite series ever. For those not yet on board, do yourself a favor and grab the first 2 seasons.

Oh, and I enjoy reading Sutter's blog.

Tonight's episode should be pretty cool, they did an excellent job setting everything up in the premiere. I've been excited about it all day.

I just bought Season 1 and 2 on amazon.com Price: $69.98

RE: Sons of Anarchy - Coopdaddy67 - 09-15-2010 02:29 PM

I liked last night's episode, but I feel like there was a little too much going on. Obviously they're working hard to set up the season and that can be a challenge given the small number of episodes. I know we'll get a few 90-minute episodes, so that should help a bit.

One of my favorite things about this show is its ability to have highly dramatic scenes while tossing in some funny bits. I thought Juice's line was hilarious and Chucky should be in every episode. :)

RE: Sons of Anarchy - Coopdaddy67 - 09-23-2010 12:22 PM

What are your thoughts on Stephen King's guest role? I thought it was great. Not only was it funny, but Bachman was very creepy. Great decision to keep his lines to a minimum. I read that he may come back in the future if they can work it out.

Speaking of guest roles, Hal Holbrook continues to impress. I've read that his performance next week is amazing.

I thought this episode was much more fluid than last week's. Looks like everything starts coming together next week. :)

RE: Sons of Anarchy - rath v2.0 - 09-23-2010 12:32 PM

Loved him as the creepy cleaner. Perfect casting again. Almost as dead on as bringing in Henry Rollins last year as the neo-nazi capo.

RE: Sons of Anarchy - Crewdogz - 09-23-2010 03:31 PM

Loved the line where is she? and answer where's who?

RE: Sons of Anarchy - ctipton - 09-23-2010 05:01 PM

I am in Hawaii. I just bought the first two years, of which I have year one with me. I am not up to date and I sure wish you all wouldn't spoil what comes up.....

Fair enough.

Rollins was absolutely dead on last year. The crazy thing is despite everything he was the more likeable of the main bad guys. What a great show.

No details coming from my mouth... chris you are going to love this show. it is top notch.

RE: Sons of Anarchy - Coopdaddy67 - 09-28-2010 10:03 PM

I thought tonight's episode was one of the best ever in the series.

RE: Sons of Anarchy - bearcatmark - 09-30-2010 07:05 PM

Vague Spoilers follow if you are not caught up on Sons

Strong start to the season.. not sure it's been quite to the level of last year's start though. I think the best episodes so far are in my opinion.

1. Baum- when Jemma came clean to Jacks and Clay + say Tig struggles hit a complete head after his mushroom trip.
2. The Revelator- Just a killer ending to season 1.
3. Albificaton- The Jacks v Clay tension is incredible and is going to be the center spot of the season... then Zobel and AJ (Henry Rollins) come into the picture and everything is kicked up a level. The end of this episode absolutely blew my mind for a season premier.. I could not believe the message AJ and Zobel sent.

I thought season two was incredible. season 3 so far has been awesome though I don't know if it is quite up to season 2 (yet still plenty of time to go).

Could some of you fellas just love "Sons" in silence? I am working my way through Season 1 (which I have with me) after which I will watch Season 2 after I get back home (or on my Caribbean cruise just before Christmas) then I will start on season 3. I promise to catch up and then say nothing. Or maybe, I should just stay the hell outta the thread? Hmmmm.....

I tried to stay moderately vague and give a spoiler warning. Very jealous of you on your first time viewing of this show.

katel sagal needs to start getting nominated for an emmy.

It's way overdue.
