-- the article says that the field could be ready to go for the 2006 season.....if they can get there bball arena up to speed as well and can show any sign of life under O'Leary...I think the chances are good that they are going to be with us come 2010 (assuming Penn st ND, Army, Navy say no)

The feasability study was a big "go". Everything is pointing to the fact that we WILL have a stadium on campus in 2006.

Arena construction is slated for April I believe. 4 projects in our new "athletic village" is already underway. When completed it's going to be easily among the top in the state, maybe the region.

And judging from this year's successful recruiting class, I'd say Mr. O'Leary will have lots of life in UCF within a few short years.

Hope all your dreams come true, except aganist USF!

Ty-Bull we are going to have a great series. We expect nothing but a great rivalry for many years to come.

Hopefully. UCF would be a "short" roadie....

When is USF going to build an on campus football stadium?

- pirates4life - 01-22-2005 02:57 AM

probably never.

If you had bothered to read information on South Florida you would know that they're in the process of upgrading all of their athletic facilities so obviously an on-campus facility would be on the agenda. Seriously, get over the bitterness. This isn't me being nasty, just getting old. Everytime you see an article posted about South Florida an ECU fan has to come in and make some snide remark.
