I actually heard the bball talking heads from ESPN say ACC bball improved thanks to expansion.....and they weren't joking

-- this morning on the front page of ESPN.com talks about the ACC being the elite conference of America...making a big deal over #1 Wake Forest's win over unranked Providence in the preseason NIT and UNCs win of Iowa.....how quickly Carolina's loss to Santa Clara is forgoten

-- The quicker we get to Fox Sports the better

Be careful what you wish for ESPN, you just might get it. I seriously would love for the Big East to pull all of their sports from the ESPN network and hook up with FOX. They want to take the ACC, low ball us and then trash us on national television and then actually say something stupid like expansion helped ACC basketball fine. Even Coach K said that expansion watered down basketball. Well let them take their "new and improved" basketball package and build the entire network around it while FOX enjoys the ACC, Pac-10 and Big East basketball. Another reason why I want FOX to pick up the Big East is that, down here in Cincinnati, we're just surrounded by BCS conferences. Obviously the SEC and Big 12, but locally the WB affiliate has SEC football and the CBS affiliate has Big Ten football. The FOX affiliate doesn't have anything, and that would be the perfect home for Big East football in the Cincinnati and surround areas. That way they would keep the SEC and Big Ten fans happy with their football, and give us Big East football.
