Maybe it's a good hire but I can't think of 2 more diametrically opposed organizations among the top tier football powers. I would have tried to hire someone more in tune with my schools culture but completely ignoring that, still don't see this as a blue chip hire. What have Miami's sports, facilities or support structure improved or accomplished while he was there. Texas A&M hiring South Carolina's AD was a great hire, this one not so much.

I'll be more interested in seeing who Miami hires as their new AD. Maybe they can finally get a decent weight room or start some promotions to fill seats in that huge pro stadium. Seeing Miami being made fun of on ESPN, Yahoo etc. for there poor attendance is not good for the conference. Miami really needs to get good again in a hurry and fill those seats and make people want to see the U again.
