Transfers - BeerCat - 04-18-2013 07:03 PM

Other than Seagears, anyone else available?

Just saw that Chennault will be transferring again, this time he's leaving Nova.

RE: Transfers - cinbinsportsfan - 04-18-2013 07:44 PM

I heard Rutgers' Eli Carter was looking to transfer. Although I'm not sure what's going on with that.

RE: Transfers - BearChatter v2.0 - 04-18-2013 07:53 PM

I'd rather have Carter than Seagears.

Florida seems to be the leader, as he has canceled trip to UMD.

Heh?

Isn't Tueslo the Samoan kid who plays at a private school near San Diego? Morman, I believe. 6'12.5" & 398 lbs.

I thought Mick was going to sign him for the Sumo Wrestling team, that way he wouldn't count against the basketball scholarships.

That's what they are saying over at Bearcat Journal, but as Chatter says, what do they know?

No clue what that means, but I do know UC wasn't heavily recruiting Bail.

Rutgers transfer Jerome Seagears will likely decide his landing spot by the end of the weekend, per a source. Auburn + Arkansas in mix.

RE: Transfers - kobe - 05-01-2013 07:15 AM

As expected, Eli Carter transfers to Florida. Seagears is expected to decide today between Arkansas and Auburn.

K-State transfer Angel Rodriguez done deal to MiamiMay 1, 2013 12:19 pm ET

Kansas State transfer Angel Rodriguez is heading to Miami, multiple sources told CBSSports.com.

The 5-foot-11 point guard, who spent his first two seasons with the Wildcats, will attempt to get a waiver from the NCAA to play next season due to health issues with his family, sources told CBSSports.com. Rodriguez played high school ball at Krop High near Miami, and his family lives in Puerto Rico. Rodriguez said he was leaving Kansas State to be near his family.

Rodriguez averaged 11.4 points and 5.2 assists last season for a Kansas State team that won 27 games.

If granted a waiver by the NCAA, he'd step in and fill the void created when point guard Shane Larkin decided to leave for the NBA. The 'Canes also lose the rest of their starting lineup. Next year, though, will likely be a rebuilding season in Coral Gables, and it could be more beneficial for Jim Larranaga and his staff if Rodriguez sits out next season and has two years remaining.

Also read yesterday, dont have the source at hand, that two incoming freshmen football players will play on the basketball team as well

RE: Transfers - ThinkBigPine - 12-16-2013 10:00 AM

There are 6 -7 players transferring from the Gator's this month. I don't think any held offers from UC or Texas Tech but I am always interested to see if we get mentioned. Has anyone heard anything? The Gator's have 3 QB's transferring.

RE: Transfers - rath v2.0 - 12-16-2013 12:55 PM

Were any recruited by Gran to FSU or Hinshaw to UT?

With as bad as their QB play has been, I don't think we want any of their QBs.

None of the QB's were. They are all very bad and I doubt UC would have any interest in them. Some of the others guys they may be interested in but I dont remember any of those guys really being recruited by FSU or Tennessee.

RE: Transfers - BeerCat - 12-16-2013 10:10 PM

Damn, since this is/was a basketball thread I got pretty excited.

RE: Transfers - BEARCAT991 - 01-20-2014 04:40 PM

Is there any word on where TE Welch from ND is transferring? Does UC have any interest?
