"Breach of Conduct" - or proof of horrible education system? - Ole Blue - 05-01-2013 06:45 PM I am beyond disappointed this happened in Florida. What a disgrace. The principal of the school even came to this girl's defense. To top it all off, the board administrators called it a "breach of conduct". What I might be inclined to call it is a "breach of stupidity" by both the school board and the idiots who arrested her. Proof of a broken system. Re: "Breach of Conduct" - or proof of horrible education system? - I'mMoreAwesomeThanYou - 05-01-2013 07:28 PM Kids can't just be kids anymore. This is stupid and if it were my daughter I would sue them til the end of time. Positive rep me or I'll sell you to gypsies. RE: "Breach of Conduct" - or proof of horrible education system? - smn1256 - 05-01-2013 07:34 PM If this was my kid, I'd hunt down the district people responsible for this and burn their houses down. And I'm not kidding, dead serious here. RE: "Breach of Conduct" - or proof of horrible education system? - smn1256 - 05-01-2013 09:00 PM My wife wants to know who called the police. She's pissed. RE: "Breach of Conduct" - or proof of horrible education system? - smn1256 - 05-01-2013 09:05 PM My wife also wants to know who is going to be accountable for giving a kid the materials To make a weapon or a destructive device. Man is she pissed. RE: "Breach of Conduct" - or proof of horrible education system? - smn1256 - 05-01-2013 09:06 PM As long as I have a school age kid this ruins any chance of my wife ever going to florida. Did I say she's pissed? RE: "Breach of Conduct" - or proof of horrible education system? - Native Georgian - 05-01-2013 09:07 PM Separation of school and state. It's for the children. RE: "Breach of Conduct" - or proof of horrible education system? - smn1256 - 05-01-2013 09:10 PM I never should have showed this to my wife. She's livid and feels for this girl's mother. I've never seen her so upset over an Internet story. RE: "Breach of Conduct" - or proof of horrible education system? - smn1256 - 05-01-2013 09:12 PM Aha! My wife is bitching about where the fuk is the ACLU. RE: "Breach of Conduct" - or proof of horrible education system? - smn1256 - 05-01-2013 09:14 PM Now she's bitching about how a school can give a student materials that can blow him/her up. I need to make her a member here. RE: "Breach of Conduct" - or proof of horrible education system? - smn1256 - 05-01-2013 09:16 PM Mach, as a teacher and a parent, what are your thoughts on this? RE: "Breach of Conduct" - or proof of horrible education system? - smn1256 - 05-01-2013 09:18 PM Now she's bitching that if a school can give a student the materials to make a destructive device why don't they just hand them guns. Holy crap is she upset. I guess mothers are like that. RE: "Breach of Conduct" - or proof of horrible education system? - smn1256 - 05-01-2013 09:20 PM I'm not getting any tonight. Thanks Blue. RE: "Breach of Conduct" - or proof of horrible education system? - Native Georgian - 05-01-2013 09:22 PM I wonder how many husbands sleep on the couch when their wife is upset at something in the news? RE: "Breach of Conduct" - or proof of horrible education system? - T-Monay820 - 05-01-2013 09:23 PM My college science teacher intentionally blew up a 2-liter coke bottle outside the chemistry building when I was in school, she must be in hiding now. A tiny water bottle is a joke. Does the DA office really have nothing better to do with their time? RE: "Breach of Conduct" - or proof of horrible education system? - smn1256 - 05-01-2013 09:27 PM Now my wife wants to know why the kids weren't supervised around lethal chemicals. Damn, she's on a role. RE: "Breach of Conduct" - or proof of horrible education system? - dmacfour - 05-01-2013 10:44 PM I remember my chemistry teacher making thermite. It was badass. We also launched watermelons with a trebuchet. People aren't as touchy in Idaho.
