Wow! Did anyone see what Adidas did to the Louisville uniforms?

I can't imagine any other team having such drastic a change. Wonder what other teams will role out this year?

I know the players and recruits really like the flamboyant new looks, so that's a good thing. Building a traditional look is a good thing too.

I like most of LU's 1,000 different looks, but it'd be nice to settle on a few.

I don't like the new Louisville jerseys because the bird looks too real. I'd rather it be a cartoon instead of trying to be a picture. But other than that it's not bad. For all the grief Maryland gets about their jerseys, I like them.

It's funny, the various tastes in uniforms. I never disliked Maryland's gear the way many others did. I never liked the new Boise St. look. I use to like the old "new" Oregon uniforms. The most recent versions I like less. It has taken a while, but the new alternate Louisville gear is growing on me, minus the silver (which isn't remotely a school color). All this to say, some people hate the Maryland, Oregon, Louisville, you name it look, while others love it.

There are things about the LU combinations that I really like and others not so much. It's nice to be able to see a team and imediately say, "There is Auburn, or Florida, or Texas, etc." Teams that have iconic looks and resist changing uniforms every 3-5 years.

But, whatever, it's still "your" team. As long as they are competitive you don't care if they go out in a disco suit.

Saw the new Tennessee uniforms from Nike. They look pretty traditional with some slight highlights. I liked them. Not so sure about grey though. I never understand why teams go with something other than their school colors. That doesn't make sense to me. The outline of the Smokey Mountains on their helmet is a really cool idea.

Anybody see the new Oregon uniforms with the ducks flying in formation on the helmets. Oregon does some crazy stuff but always seems to pull it off. I've really never seen an Oregon uni I didn't like.

Yes, they look very good, too much outside the box for LU tho.

With all the new fabrics and technology out there surely we can get some type of holographic uniform that really looks like burning flames... You know that whole Hunger Games look.

This thread is useless without pictures. Or at least links to pictures.

Hmm, wish I knew how to do that. It's not a useless thread, but pictures would spice it up.

I didn't mind Maryland uniforms. I liked their state flag helmets. I think it showed a lot of state pride. That's cool.
