HELP: C-USA and our teams on Wikipedia - 49RFootballNow - 09-15-2015 11:24 AM

When Charlotte decided to start football I started to do some work on Wikipedia to make pages for the program, team, coaches, stuff like that. I've noticed over the last couple of years that most of the P5 schools have very detailed info on their wiki pages and I thought there was no reason Conference USA shouldn't have decent pages as well.

Basically, since I'm biased and will always put my own best efforts toward Charlotte 49ers related pages (and I have a job), I'm offering to provide help and tips if some of you want to spruce up you own teams' wiki pages as well. If you're interested I'll tell you how to get started.

That's a great idea. I think ours is pretty thorough. 100+ years of playing football makes for a lot of information. But it's good to get a foundation right to build on as the years add up for your team.

The write up on the Marshall page is pretty good, but you guys need a current uniform image.

How in the world do you create the uniforms? I've yet to figure that out.

Whoever it was on the ODU boards who posted our uniforms and concepts for a light blue and a silver uniform should take what our actual ones look like and upload it to our Wikipedia football page!

You pretty much have to use Wikimedia Commons to post pictures on Wikipedia.

Just created a page for the 49ers marching band:
