"I will burn cities to the ground!" GOT - billybobby777 - 04-24-2016 04:42 PM

At what point in game of thrones does Cersi Lannister say "I will burn cities to the ground!", in this season? Tonight? Also, I've heard the red woman's true physical body will be shown tonight and we fans of her won't exactly like it.
Cheers!

Am I the only one who thought last night's episode sucked? GRRM please come back and write!
Cheers!

Typical season premiere from the Two D's. Basically five minute clips of "where are they now". They've been doing this since Season 2 so we should expect as much by now. Next week will be more of the same. The real story never starts up until Episode 3 in the Two D's writing style.

They are talking about shorter seasons while cutting huge swaths from the stories and making up whatever that crap is in Dorne. The material has already been written for them, all they have to do is adaption screen play writing and most will applaud them as "geniuses". Instead they feel the urge to "make it their own", and have subtly started to jump the rails more and more. If they would just write Episode 1 of seasons as a direct continuation of Episode 10 of the last season, they'd be doing 100% better on the first two episodes of most seasons.

Is there a single memorable scene from an Episode 1 or 2 of any season past Season 1?

Dorne is the single most disappointing aspect of this show. I have no idea if this is the direction GRRM had in mind, but the showrunners have taken my favorite locale and turned it into a big ole pile of crap. The only thing I appreciate from Episode 1 is that they jumped into the Jon Snow story right off the bat.

The Jon Snow thing was predictable and a bit cheesy but he's back. Also, the giant grabbing that guy and flinging him was awesome. That was Mar Tun Wun Dun right? He's getting bigger and bigger!
Cheers!

SPOILER!!!!

Big day for smashing heads against walls! But seriously, the biggest part of the show, in my opinion, was Ramsey giving himself a promotion, was a bit unexpected so early in the season (but then again, when did Joffrey's reign end?), and it certainly sets up what I think will be his eventual downfall. He thinks he can hold power in the North with only his own army, the Karstarks, the Umbers, and the Manderleys. A couple things wrong with that plan though. The Umbers and the Manderleys both lost men (and lords) during the Red Wedding. The Umbers currently host Rickon Stark, Shaggydog, and Osha (or whatever the wildling woman's name is on the show), and were always fiercely loyal to the Starks. The Manderleys (at least in the books) are biding their time and actively plotting the downfall of the Boltons. Roose may have been an @$$hole, but Ramsey is a monster and the other Northern houses should be uniting against him. Then again, I'm not affiliated with the show (otherwise I would have enough money to call everyone "peasant") and have no idea what B&W are planning for the final few seasons.

Have you read the books? They are trying to cram about 10,000 pages into 53 episodes (so far). They've skipped a lot of great book material to even pull this off..
Cheers!

Well there goes my theory about the north. But what the **** Smalljon Umber??? Just giving up Rickon like that? You could have taken out the Boltons and the Karstarks and set yourself and your family as the new #2 in the North. Now you are a tenuous #3??? Ugh. I don't get it. This show is starting to drive me insane. I love it.

It could be a trojan horse kind of thing with the Umber kid and Rickon having some kind of plot to do Ramsey in.

I really hope so, but after 5+ years invested watching the show, and reading all the books, I have to defend myself against any and all feelings of hope.

I'm thinking that it's some sort of trick as Umber was extremely disrespectful to Ramsey and he made that "Karstark likes little boys" joke to their face. I thought the actor playing Umber was pretty good. It's like he's saying, "here's Rickon Stark, but there's a catch."
Cheers!

I saw in the YouTube comments section that someone caught on to him looking just like Liam Neeson's Zeus from Clash of the Titans.
