I found the below article very interesting in how the BIG12 expanding could effect FCS teams. And yes LU is mentioned. What is everyone's thoughts on this?

Wow, I think that guy is thinking a little to much. So why would Conf USA take Ga Southern before App State? I could see some of those dominos falling, but in the end I see Liberty getting passed over again.

These things are fun to think about but unrealistic in my opinion. I don't think the Big 12 will expand to 14 when they couldn't even expand to 12 when Louisville was available. Richmond to the Sun Belt? Why not New Mexico State? I think Liberty may have an opportunity if the Sun Belt lost enough members to panic and need someone immediately. Until they reach that threshold I don't see them adding Liberty.

The article seems pie in the sky but he is really playing with hypothetical rather than quoting sources. It make fun read waiting for the season to begin.
How can anyone believe LU will be invited in the SBC after the Coastal pick is beyond me. With Coastal now struggling to get it's FB stadium expansion it show just how much discontent for LU exist at the present in the SBC.

I would hope so. This may be one of the last opportunity's to go FBS for the foreseeable future. I would throw the house at CUSA. Offer a $20,000,000 entrance fee and waive all TV money for the first 10 years.

I hope Jerry Jr. is making some calls around when he has time between Trump rallies... But seriously, his job is to run the school and if he isn't one of the ones making the calls, then I'd be really disappointed. However, I'm sure every conference is aware of our desire to move up but reminders aren't bad.

Don't be silly Jerry Jr.'s job is to campaign for Trump make abrasive comments and to proudly sell bumper stickers that say "politically incorrect since 1971" to anyone that will buy them.......America
