Temple University in Philadelphia is on edge after seething “flash mobs” of violent teens roved the campus Friday night, terrorizing and randomly assaulting students. Four teenagers ages 14-17 have since been arrested and police presence reinforced around the rattled campus.

How do such groups of teens, if unrelated to the university, have free access to the campus? Are the campus police in this PC age unwilling to maintain campus security?

Our campus is open, which it shouldn't be. Our president 2 presidents ago even removed a gate to make it more open. We should enclose our entire campus, but we'd be viewed as racist for doing so.
Also, these attacks technically weren't on campus, but within the vicinity of our campus.
