Juniors Aren't Scoring Much - EvanJ - 02-24-2017 08:11 AM

In all games, Eli Pemberton is the fourth highest scoring freshman at 12.9 points per game. That's more than the fourth highest scoring junior, who is Sammy Mojica at 11.2 points per game. Mike Morsell is the second highest scoring junior at 14.2 points per game, which would be the lowest by the second highest scoring junior in the CAA since at least 2008-2009.

I had noticed the same thing. Joe Chealey, who is the top scoring junior, is only part of the class due to injury. The all-rookie team for that class was Elijah Bryant, Kori Holden, Chivarsky Corbett, Jordan Talley, and Morsell. Bryant and Holden both left for brighter lights. Corbett lost a year to injury and still seems to be struggling to regain his form. Talley finds himself behind a transfer in Denzel Ingram leaving Morsell the only one in that all-rookie team who is putting up big stats in the CAA.
