Marshall vs. Middle Tennessee: ESPN2 Friday Oct. 20 - Surbadger - 10-18-2017 12:05 PM

I figured since the game was on Friday, we might as well start this thread. I'm excited to actually be on a channel that will get views. 02-13-banana

I feel Marshall's defense will give MT fits, but I hate that we can't get a shot to beat them at full strength.

Marshall 28
Middle Tenn. 10

This game scares me. We never play well there, and the last two trips down there, they really got up for us. Marshall's luck in Murfreesboro has been so bad there that if were raining pu#&ies, Marshall would get hit in the head with a d*ck.

That is one of the stupidest analogies I've ever read.

Nor gonna lie, I've read it twice now and have laughed both times.

That's a funny analogy but the town is spelled Murfreesboro.

Are you sure this is a C-USA game? It's airing on an ESPN network. Can't be.

It's a good thing that you're not the be all/ end all of what is humorous then, huh? Go pound sand.

Since medical redshirts are only eligible for players who appear in less than 30% of ateams games in an athletic season and he has already appeared in 3 games. If Stockstill takes a single snap in another game the rest of the year, he’d be ineligible for a medical redshirt this year. Do you rush him back to play in 5 games to salvage a near .500 season, or do you wait and apply to likely get a full year back?

From an alum and fans perspective, it would be better for us to have him sit and apply for a medical redshirt. But the coach (and the players want a winning record) and he probably also wants his extension that comes with seven wins. We basically award an $800,000 bonus for getting to seven wins.

I am going with The Herd in this one.
Herd 4, MUTS 0

RE: Marshall vs. Middle Tennessee: ESPN2 Friday Oct. 20 - MU ATO - 10-19-2017 12:37 PM

Looking for payback. Marshall wins a close one.
98-0

RE: Marshall vs. Middle Tennessee: ESPN2 Friday Oct. 20 - MUther - 10-19-2017 12:45 PM

Honestly, if your QB is as bad at turnovers as you guys say he is, then score from outside the redzone. Something happens with our D when opponents get deep into our territory. People call it bend, don't break. But it's more than that. They make teams go backwards and they force turnovers heavily inside the 25ish. These guys take it personally when you try to score on them. And we have some linebackers that you wouldn't want knowing your name. Fair warning.

RE: Marshall vs. Middle Tennessee: ESPN2 Friday Oct. 20 - KAjunRaider - 10-19-2017 12:52 PM

Pretty pathetic about how bad our backup QB is.

That's our own damn fault.

Brent literally means 20-30 point swing for us.
