2017 APR Watch - stever20 - 10-28-2017 11:58 AM

here's the top 129 for APR- 79 already are eligible. 48 are not Bowl Eligible. So right now of the 130 teams- we have 127 status known. We have 3 teams left possible to get bowl eligible. 2 will be favored I think so should wind up with 81. Note that Ole Miss had 6 wins but self-elected for a bowl ban.

You left out Memphis at 75 with 965 score
Also, tied with Miami and Oklahoma at 75

teams already bowl eligible not on list.......

1 thing regarding APR watch- Hawaii only has 12 games so them finishing 6-7 won't be a possibility to move out in front of the 5-7 teams.

RE: 2017 APR Watch - MWC Tex - 11-01-2017 10:53 AM

This list will get pared down a bit after this week.

yeah. There are 10 7 loss teams that with another loss leaves the list. And there are 25 teams with 5 wins that leaves the list with a win.

so this list will get pared down some after this week.

updated thru Thursday's action.

RE: 2017 APR Watch - ken d - 11-03-2017 09:29 AM

I guess UNC fans can take some solace in the fact that because their football team is so bad, they will be spared the embarassment of finishing 5-7 and getting eliminated because their APR score is so low.

RE: 2017 APR Watch - stever20 - 11-03-2017 08:22 PM

Updated. The fighting Lane Kiffin's from FAU are going bowling.

RE: 2017 APR Watch - stever20 - 11-04-2017 07:23 PM

I've updated thru all the early games today. few teams got BE and a few teams are totally out now.

RE: 2017 APR Watch - stever20 - 11-04-2017 10:32 PM

so we are up to 49 teams BE. Also by my count 24 teams have 5 wins. So only 5 more of those to go and we'd be at 78- meaning some of the 7 loss teams would start to get eliminated by APR at that point as we see more teams getting up to 5 wins....

think it's interesting that the top 4 teams are all ones that could easily wind up with 5-7 records. Meaning we might not go that deep in the list if we need it at all.

RE: 2017 APR Watch - ken d - 11-05-2017 07:48 AM

With Fresno's win last night we are at 50 eligible. There are 18 teams who could become eligible this week. Last year through Week 11 there were only 58 teams already eligible.

It appears the field is beginning to tilt in favor of not needing any 5-7 teams. This is bad news for both Florida State and Florida, who face elimination this week (at Clemson and South Carolina respectively) because they did not make up their weather cancellation games.

13 teams face elimination this week, most of which will be underdogs. If 10 of them lose we will match last year's total of 32 ineligible after Week 11.

RE: 2017 APR Watch - TerpsNPhoenix - 11-05-2017 08:41 AM

T11. Illinois 984 2-7 so far
T11. Maryland 984 4-5 so far

Go ahead and take these two out. It's not happening. Maryland isn't winning any more games this season.

RE: 2017 APR Watch - stever20 - 11-07-2017 01:23 PM

updated the list to show that FSU/ULM will be playing on Dec 2 so both teams get 12 games....
