While I enjoy this forum immensely.....and appreciate the amnesty - TG4 - 12-19-2017 06:49 PM

MT.org ranks just below a now defunct forum of which I was privileged to be an invited member. The TigerJeb forum of 2005 was a really good forum until someone who shall remain nameless repeatedly made TigerFanScott and MissJ extremely angry until Jeb finally pulled the plug.

We had some awesome discussions that season. Such as, DeAngelo sitting out at UTK, Tommy claiming interest from Ole Miss, and Smitty transitioning to a managerial role at The Fields.

Man, I really miss that forum.

I sometimes miss the piece of tail I was with in 2005.

Nostalgia sucks and is stupid. Get over it.

Nah, although I had my moments in the Bengal Tiger Tiger Forum as well. LXATiger got pretty riled at me for poking fun at the ex-HS coach in Parsons who got arrested for lewd behavior during the wee hours of the morning in a Lexington, TN parking lot.

I think the guy was a friend of his.

I grew up in Parsons for a few years back in the middle to late 70's.
Great area, fond memories.

This forum is like just about every other board i have either read of been a member. You have a Clique who sets the agenda and you must either abide by that agenda or you are despised and looked upon as a pariah.

Most forums succeed in running off all those who do not believe as they believe. Or Ban them when they cannot run them off.

This forum is neither better or worst than the majority of forums.

90% of forums are about egos and people attempting to make themselves seem more important than they actually are by claiming X, Y or Z inside information.

Once you accept this fact you will be at ease in any forum.

This board has at least 5 cliques— each of which uses the same vernacular and has a recognizably similar assessment of the main issues. The smaller boards don’t have such variety of thought unless the posters are imaginative with a sense of humor. Smaller boards are more intimate and made for partying and venting!

This site is huge. It’s a great message board site. Heck, if you get bored or feel maligned hanging with Tiger fans, you can go play in the AAC sandbox.

Cause it’s easy to play nice when everyone agrees on all major issues. The challenge is dealing with opinions that go against your braingrain.

Ok I’m done spouting obvious dorkisms

I count 8 cliques:

The sportos, the motorheads, geeks, sluts, bloods, waistoids, dweebies, and dickheads.

Plus one righteous dude.

Man, I really miss that forum.

Pretty sure Jeb is still around and running his own board. I can’t imagine why he wouldn’t include someone with the wealth and depth of knowledge as well as the many special talents you obviously possess.
