Looks like they aren't the 2013 national champs after all...and they must pay $15mil in penalties. Ouch.
Also, since they beat UC in the Big East final that year, does that mean UC is the real Big East Champs since we aren't dirty cheaters?

Bad news guys. Cincy lost the Big East to Louisville in 2012. Syracuse lost in 2013.
I've seen conflicting reports of Louisville's games either being vacated or forfeited.
According to the NCAA, if a game is vacated: "To record vacancies for NCAA tournament games, the wins and losses of the penalized team are dropped from its overall record and treated as if no games had been played...The won-lost records for each of the opposing teams are not changed when games are vacated."
If games are forfeited: "To record a forfeit, the wins of the penalized team must be changed to losses, and the losses of its opponents must be changed to wins...Games later forfeited due to post-game administrative actions do not alter any NCAA statistics and/or records unless they are penalties passed down by the COI or NCAA executive action, or are dictated by the rules of the game."

I've always thought that was stupid. I don't think a team should pick up a win if the game is vacated by their opponent but I do feel that a loss should be removed.

They haven't even uncovered 10% of the dirtiness of that program. They just need to be shut down for 5 years and get their priorities straight.
Are they eligible for the NCAA tourney this year? Ridiculous if so! Can you image if one of our teams was paying out six figures to recruits and giving them access to prostitutes? Free travel for families traveling to away games, free shoes, etc.

Now was University-6 the one that was printing fake degrees or was the UNC? I can't keep the ACC schools straight when it comes to cheating.
