Huge news! This will take a long time to get sorted out. Another black eye to the Big Ten coming after the scandal at PSU. RE: Lou Anna Simon, Michigan State president, resigning amid Nassar scandal - mikeinsec127 - 01-25-2018 09:45 AM If half the accusations are true, MSU needs to clean house. There are accounts that multiple coaches, athletic trainers and administrators were told of the abuse and did nothing or worse, actively discouraged/suppressed reporting. I saw that E:60 episode on Sunday, and you're right, they pretty much did everything but shovel dirt on the grave. While not trying to make light of what's been going on at MSU, I can't help but wonder (as I posted on another thread) if ESPN or the NCAA were to do a deep dive on just about any other large athletic department if they wouldn't find the exact same thing? Let's be honest, if it wasn't for Nassar most of this would have never came out so you can't help but think that maybe the reason MORE hasn't came out about OTHER programs is that they're lacking their own Nassar. RE: Lou Anna Simon, Michigan State president, resigning amid Nassar scandal - Policiious - 01-31-2018 03:56 AM MSU is bearing the brunt of this because of Nassar's association with not only USA Gymnastics but MSU Gymnastics and the MSU athletic dept as a whole. There should be a no post season penalty for football and hoops since bot those HC's have been found complicit in this coverup of sexual misconduct or at least it appeas that they have been.
