False, this movie is going to win best picture and if not we will make the #Oscarssowhite movement look like a tea party. Wonder Woman was robbed this year but they will not make the same mistake with Black Panther. If Heath Ledger can win an oscar for being the Joker than why can’t Chadwick win for Black Panther? Coogler for best director and Black Panther for best picture. This will happen and if it does not that will be the end of the oscars as we know it. Either get on board or get out of our way.

Who’s “our way”?

What part of this comic book flick did you play? Writing or directing?

JD, just give it a rest. Tiresome already.

Blah blah blah, the bottom line is quite simple. Diversity will always win, this is not just about a movie. This is the start of a movement. Transgender heroes, gay heroes, superheroes from all walks of life, all nations. This is the future of marvel and I’m pretty pumped about it.

None of them are welcome in Wakanda. 03-lmfao

just too easy 04-cheers

I don't think it's JD. He at least would add substance to his post. Unless he's suffering from a severe case of TDS.

RE: Black Panther film - Tulanefan32 - 02-18-2018 05:10 PM

My metrics for a great movie are simple....was there diversity? Was there a larger message? Did the film do enough to tackle the major issue known as Donald Trump? If it did all three things then it is a great movie.

JD is a good poster even if we disagree about stuff. This is flat out trolling. Sometimes clever, more often weak.

Lol

Then you better shake that asss and get some more fat, white, bespectacled middle aged guys creaking on cheap folding church coffee hour chairs to start writing all these comic books.

These pieces of brilliant art aren’t gonna write themselves!

Too freaking funny.

Shame it’s so transparent.

Then anyone with a pencil and a relatively clean paper bag could write an Oscar winner for you.

Damn, go get some self respect, we can’t do that for you!

I'm surprised he's not watching Daytona.....

Yeah Black Panther is like Trump. The bad guy is the open borders globalist left. Wakanda has border walls. The country is conservative, anti-globalist and nationalist.

Not a Nascar fan and I've never watched a single full race I don't believe, but congrats to Bubba Wallace for being the first black NASCAR driver at Daytona in almost 50 years.

How about people like me who have absolutely no desire to see this movie? None whatsoever. Wouldn't see it if you paid me.

Please tell me he's got a full time ride? I've been a fan of his in the Craftsman Truck series, and its about damn time he got called up to the "main roster" of NASCAR

He's got the full time ride. He's running for Petty in the 43 car. And Petty is running Chevys and getting support from Childress.

He's driving the historic #43 for Richard Petty.

And I agree it's about time he got a Cup ride.

RE: Black Panther film - gdunn - 02-19-2018 01:33 PM

I was impressed by him yesterday with his driving, his demeanor after the race in the interview, then at the press conference. My driver retired, Bubba keeps it up and I'll be a fan.

Sweet.. which means he should be a player for a _very long_ time...(I dont' know if he'll ever replace Keslowski as my current top support... but once he made it up, he was definitely making it into my top 3 favorites.. and probably #2).

RE: Black Panther film - gdunn - 02-19-2018 01:50 PM

I've always been Earnhardt. So watching the 500 was bittersweet. I always like Truex too. I was impressed with Chase Elliott. So Elliott and Truex are wrecked out. I was watching for enjoyment. When Austin Dillion won, it sent a shiver up my spine. I even had a tear.
