Florida State and Syracuse

Where has anyone said this would be the 3rd biggest win of Cronin's era? I haven't seen that discussed on a single board?

It would be a big win but not top three. A few off the top of my head are Syracuse in the BE tournament, Florida State for sweet sixteen, Louisville in 2012. We had many top 25 wins in 2011. I would put tomorrow in the top ten though.

Where'd all the Cincy fans go?

We win tomorrow and it's going to be like they left the conference. It feels like we lost about half of them after the Beatdown in Queenstown. Part of me wants them to win tomorrow just to keep this board alive. Unfortunately Gregg Marshall really gets up for big games and it's Senior Day. We'll have to shoot extremely poor tomorrow in order to help the Boocats win.

So you were the guy in red. I was there. Great game. Obviously could have easily gone the other way.

I would guess it will be Cincy vs WSU on Sunday in Orlando.

Our likely path will be Temple, Houston and Cincy. that will allow us to win a second game against all but one of the teams that beat us during the regular season.

This ain’t the Ohio Valley Conference.

I said all season Wichita would probably lose 5 conference games in the regular season. They lost 4 and barely eeked out an overtime win at UCF thanks to our depleted roster and DPOY being out for the season.

This season was probably Wichita’s best chance at making noise. Several AAC teams are projected to be considerably better next season. Best of luck in the tournament. Enjoy Orlando!

I don’t get it. We’re ranked Top 15, finished 2nd in the conference our first year, where we were slotted, lost 2 conference road games, and if we’re playing the “what if game”, had 2 shots in the air at the buzzer that could have made us 16-2.

That’s “not making noise?”

WSU made plenty of noise. They are going to be a nightmare draw in the postseason.

I wish we could clone a couple of your guys. Best team that UC has faced this season and that includes 1 seed Xavier.

Will there be bumps next year? Absolutely ... I wouldn't predict WSU down for long with Marshall at the helm though.

And if everyone comes back that has eligibility remaining, I wouldn’t expect any sort of astronomical drop off either.
