I could go for most of it except I don't see utep winning and I don't see uab beating us personally.. Biased but yeah.

ODU defeats MT (ODU breaks the curse, and MT squeezes into the Dance by the hair of our chins)

If UTSA doesn't get their star back before the tourney, they're toast in the first round. That being said, I don't see them beating us again. I would look for MU/MT III.

I wonder what the picks would have been if made last Monday....

UAB would be picked by most to win 1 game, if that. Now they are in the finials and winning it all by at least 1. ODU would be out in the semis by all but ODU fans. Of course it's not last Monday but UAB is not playing at home and all of us are playing on a court that's going to have strange shooting views.


All I know is if this Western team decides to play this team is going to be a tough out. If they do one of two things...

figure out how to beat a zone in the half court....not likely
get back to running and beating the zone....that would call for Stansbury to lower his stop sign

USM loses to FIU
UTEP beats UTSA
NT loses to La Tech
UAB beats FAU

MT beats FIU
Marshall beats UTEP
ODU beats Tech
UAB loses to Western

MT beats Marshall
Western beats ODU

Middle can't find the basket and Western wins

What do you guys think about Bearden at the point ?

Weren't you more efficient with Lil' Lonnie ?

Bearden can create his own shot and is a good scorer, but better point guard than Lil' Lonnie ?

I think the MT/Western game intensity caused us both to play badly on Saturday.

I like Darius Thompson at the point because he was into the game on both ends. Taking the ball out of his hands seemed to affect his defensive effort . And take bad shots from bad angles

This Western team is going to win or lose on their defensive effort and coaching decisions on which defense we play...

1-3-1 we give up way more than we get but Stansbury must not see it that way.

That's not going to happens, sounds like he tore his ACL, he is for sure out for the season

I predict that since it is the conference tournament, Stansbury will have to pay premium prices to the officials not to call fouls on his players.
