Unlike State, the Holes, and USC, Wake has never shown delusions of grandeur on that kind of scale. They know who and what they are. Those games will be played as scheduled.

My dad is a Wake alumnus and big supporter of the football program there. He will be excited for us to renew the series.

9 years out, though... crazy to think he'll be 71 when the game in Greenville kicks off. My son will be 11. Holy cow.

We actually got them to come to Greenville first? We couldn't even do that with Ga. State. Who negotiated this series contract? It wasn't Compher I can tell you that.

Always liked going to Wake for a game, beautiful stadium and campus. Surprised how small everything was there when I went a few years ago.
