If your going to even bother with that. Then you would be better off with going with something like these http://www.townandcountryplans.com/ If you bought the materiel. You could easily get one into the dry within a few days.

Right before I retired we ran a medical on an older woman who's son and daughter-in-law had fixed one just about like that up as a mother-in-law suite. It was actually pretty nice on the inside and the outside, but the son was a trim carpenter so he knew what he was doing inside. On the outside he had covered the plywood siding with vinyl.

Biggest problems I see are:

1. Ensuring that your building is built with 2x4 lumber. I've seen some framed with 2x3 and even 2x2s. In addition to lacking the strength of 2x4 studs the smaller framing makes it harder to run electrical, water, etc.

2. Making sure you give it a good coat of quality exterior paint. A couple of my neighbors have this type building and after a couple years they started getting water damage to the siding.
