What comes around goes around. Nice to see the left getting a taste of its own medicine. Conservatives have been pounded for far less of a connection to extremists. (thought I had seen something about this elsewhere, but didn't locate it with a quick search).

LOL. Davis? Sure, go after him. The others? Not really tied to the NOI.
I do note that their list includes the only two Muslim members of Congress.
And basically, the RJC appears to be Sheldon Adelson's hip pocket lobbying group.
I will note that they mildly criticized Trump for his vile Charlottesville response, but still retains their support.

Perhaps, a proportional response would be to criticize those who meet with the NOI, just like the RJC has to Trump and to persons like Matt Gaetz (R-FL) over consorting with anti-semites/providing cover to them.

I'll be outraged about the others right after you guys go after every member that speaks to an equally repugnant organization, the Family Research Council, which like the NOI, is a religious based group that supports demonization of others and supports religious based laws targeting others.

So what's the difference between the NOI and FRC anyway? That one is a Muslim extremist hate group and the other is a Christian extremist hate group. And there are a lot more ties from MANY elected to the FRC that are direct and ongoing than there are with elected and the NOI.

OK, YOU might criticize, but I don't exactly see the talking heads on CNN or BSDNC doing the same, so please don't think that the left is taking the high road on such matters.
As far as the FRC goes, I think there's a difference between having an opposing viewpoint on something like homosexuality and advocating hate and violence. While I personally don't agree with them, I don't automatically call it "hate" when a person of faith decides to take a more literal interpretation of their scripture. It wasn't until just recently that opinions changed on gay rights and gay marriage. Just because they don't subscribe to the belief that it's OK doesn't mean "hate". That's a common tactic of the left, disagree and it's "hate". Perfect example, people can have legitimate issues and concerns with transgenders and bathrooms. It's NOT "hate" even though many on the left automatically label it as such.
Taking issue with someone is one thing, even disliking someone for who they are is another, but that is a far cry from advocating violence.

FWIW, I only know about Elison. His district would go even farther left if it could and the Jewish faith is few and far between up here in South Canada. So between those two realities I just don't think anti-semitism is a hot political button in Minnesota.
However if you told me Elison didn't get the DNC top-dog post because of his relationship with NOI, I wouldn't be surprised.

Uh, the FRC spent tens of thousands of dollars actively lobbying against condemnation of legislation that mandated the DEATH PENALTY for Gay people. I have more examples too.
Basically, the FRC is involved, financially in protecting people advocating rounding up all Gay people and jailing and even killing them for the crime of existence. Tony Perkins, the FRC leader, has had financial interactions with David Duke too.
FRC is absolutely as bad as the NOI. The FRC is just mostly white and professes Christianity as a basis for their advocacy of civil penalties for being LGBT. The NOI is mostly black and professes Islam as a basis for its advocacy of the same. Both groups insult and demean minorities they disagree with and do so in horrendous ways. Both are equally repugnant. If you excuse one but not the other, you're not really condemning the people involved because you're upset with the advocacy, but rather simply to advance a political agenda.

BTW, Huffington Post is directly calling out Davis. As they should. But I fail to see how the NOI is any worse than the FRC.

What should be called out is the cozy relationship between a real supporter of terrorist organizations like CAIR and the DNC.
