Well, we here in the Hoosier state thought it couldn't get much worse after the terrible showing at Temple. We were, undoubtedly, wrong.

Firstly, congrats to Wisconsin. They didn't do much wrong at all. They are an underrated basketball team. Chris Wilkinson had the game of his career last night and really, they all played together really well.

Indiana, on the other hand. Well, what can I say? We have no offensive threats aside from Bracey Wright, and because he's our only man, he's easily stopped. No one else can step it up. We're playing without George Leach. He should return very soon, and that *should* help a little. However, this is the Indiana team of this year. It doesn't look like it's going to get much better than this. We played a killer OOC schedule and even if the Big 10 is down this year, playing in it can and will be brutal. Unless something gets figured out, we're screwed, and the chances of a post season are down the drain. At least next year, we have something to look forward to in a recruiting class.

Final:
Wisconsin 79
Indiana 45

Bracey Wright, 7 pts.

Next game: Northwestern

I watched the game, and it was embarrasing. Indiana looked like they were going to make it respectable in the second half when they pulled to within 20, but Wisconsin pushed it right back to 30. Wisconsin looks very good, quite possibly the best in the conference. They are excellent defensively, and can shoot the ball well. They are better now than when they went to the final four a few years back. But the decline of Indiana has been painful to watch.

This team has become embarassing for everyone involved, the players coaches and fans. Yes, Wisconsin played well, but any team that scores under 20 points in two consecutive first halfs is struggling big time.

My hope now lies in the Big Ten Tournament. Sad to hope for that as a last chance now, but let's be realistic...

Let's keep our fingers crossed for a BIG win against NU!
