****W8-FINAL: FAU 9 @ #22 Marshall 20**** - 49RFootballNow - 10-19-2020 08:25 AM

Opening line Marshall -14.5.

I think cancellation/postponement should be the favorite here. I will believe that the game will actually go forward only when there are no cancellation notices with a few hours to go...

It actually opened at +13.5 FAU, but betting is going Marshall's way in the early stages.

The combination of a renewed aggressive philosophy, focused Defense, power running game, O-line that takes control...and a Marshall home game...

The betting line could easily move to Marshall -17 by game day.

Not a knock at all on FAU, quality opponent. And they can absolutely upset us, but there are a lot of factors pointing to a Herd win.

What’s the latest word on the FAU SuperSpreaders roster and staff? Have they cut back on the group hot tub get togethers in an effort to actually play football again?

My biggest worry is that we haven't played much at all. We're in second half of october and FAU is only 1 win better than ODU who are skipping the season.

Has FAU controlled some of the initial covid scare? I remember a few weeks ago there was a lot of false negatives, however, I haven't followed your situation since then.

We've been extra careful on our end, however, covid can pop up anywhere...

Yes, rust will be a factor for FAU...we've looked real sharp as of late.

I think we had controlled the initial COVID scare, but what we were struggling with was the 'second wave", which hit the coaches really hard (both OC and DC as well as 7 out of 9 assistants)

I have doubts this game is played Saturday, but we can hope. If it doesn't happen the Window of opportunity for it happening is closing, FAU probably has to make up the So. Miss game first.

Marshall now at -16.5

I thought it would hover at around 17...

Do the FAU fans think they’ll bring a full roster to Huntington?

Yesterday, Taggart announced that 2 additional players have now tested positive and were showing some symptoms, but that they both were already in quarantine due to contact tracing.

From the Palm Beach Post -
While Taggart did not specify Monday afternoon how many players would be missing Saturday, he expects to have enough to play against the Thundering Herd.

“I expect a lot of guys to be back and ready to go on Saturday,” he said. “I think it’s a game-time decision. It could be good today, and tomorrow could be totally different.”

There will be missing players, I have no illusions about that. The question is WHO will be missing.

Certainly wish all a full recovery. This crap is doing us all in.

Well, we will be without Brock Thompson. He broke his shin and will be out 4-6 weeks. 03-banghead

RE: ****W8: FAU @ Marshall, 2:30ET, Sat., Stadium**** - rileylives - 10-20-2020 01:15 PM

So, I'm guessing our matchup will be on Fox Sports Ohio.

How does it work with the other CUSA games that will be playing on at the same time?

If you have the Fox Sports Go app, and I access from where I live in Lexington, it usually will populate Fox Sports Ohio.

But my question, will it show all of the games at the same time? So if a Marshall fan in Oregon wanted to watch, would they be able to use the Fox Sports Go app on their device to access this game at the same time with other CUSA games going on?

Good I think my cable plan covers all Fox Sports channels.

I am seeing it on FoxSports Atlantic on YoutubeTV.
