Well, the commonwealth is way behind the CLT as far as grass or my dogwood buds go for that matter. But I’ll be damned if I didn’t notice yesterday the entire yard had jumped up a bunch. I haven’t even had a chance to change the oil in my mower yet or sharpen the blades. I was wanting to ease into this. Now you people bring it up and the next day my grass has grown leaps and bounds.

loki had to cut the yard today and now blames this thread for global warming

WW using the mower to pick up live oak leaves. A little bit of grass with it. Front yard looking good. Got it done just before the rain started so ground will absorb the rain instead of leaves sticking together and hard to pick up. Oak pollen now becoming a problem for those allergic.

Maybe we can get a TV deal on the leaves and yards around CUSA!

Amazingly, our Forsythia is still brilliant yellow. Seems like our dogwoods come out after the forsythia leafs green. We likely won't get snow in the Tidewater...
