I would think also that recruits from NJ would like their friends and family to be able to see them play in person - this accomplishes that. Rutgers may not be the rival that Penn State or Notre Dame are, but it makes sense in many ways.

Looking forward to my first game inside the Carrier Dome. Looked inside when my kid did a campus visit when he was looking at Engineering Schools for College. How is parking game day.
