RE: James Madison: Where Do You Think They End Up?
Yes, and I do think we find out this week what JMU's intentions are.

From my understanding, and from those who have been following JMU a lot longer than I have, have all stated that when the first 10 year ban went in, JMU set a goal that it would be FBS once that 10 year ban was up. Before last season, Bourne, referring to an east coast conference, stated that he could see JMU being FBS in 18-24 months. This past week, he did send out an email stating that he takes conference realignment seriously and that they are working on it. While at the same time stating he hopes VCU, GMU, and ODU stay in the CAA. I think what Mr. Bourne is hoping for is the best of two worlds. Maintaining the CAA basketball league, while being a FBS member somewhere else. I don't see that happening and JMU is going to have to move all sports if it truly wants FBS-and it does, just look at the stadium and the approved 88 million to build a new convo for basketball. JMU has been doing all of these upgrades preparing for a move. Even FedEx, I think is part of the plan to market JMU to FBS leagues, saying look we can deliver Washington, DC.
