The OP is being an idiot, as usual. ESPN does not decide what Big East games to show on Saturdays until the season is playing out and they can pick the most desirable matchup. They usually pick about 2 weeks beforehand (and even make the schools move game times to fit openings in the ESPN schedule).

It always ends up that one Big East game a week is on ABC, ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU. After that, a game is selected that becomes the Big East game of the week and is shown on either local ABC channels or a regional cable network like SNY or Comcast Sports network). Then, the rest of the games revert to the schools local deals (at least lately, now that ESPN isn't showing games exclusively on internet streaming).
