What's your guys guesses on any/all of this. I don't feel like I know enough to comment on specific hires, but here's my guesses:

Purdue: Sticks things out one more year. Not sure this is a good move given recruiting is already hard and the coaching staff could be seen as lame ducks, but I think they'll wait.

Indiana: I think they should hold on things as see the Hoosiers improving even if it is not reflected in the record. That said, I think they have to win the next two and get bowl eligible for their not to be a coaching change.

Illinois: Hard one to say. I think promoting from within might actually be smart, but I doubt they do it).

Maryland: I actually could see Kiffin as the hire. He's not the perfect coach, but he's underachieved vs. his potential. Maryland is not the perfect school, but it has also underachieved. Together maybe the pieces are right. At the very least, there is definite high upside in the hire which I think will be a driving force (even if there is also a big downside risk). Bill O'Brien is definitely a better hire, but I don't think he'll be out of the NFL after this year and will not willingly go back to college unless he doesn't see another way to remain a head coach.

Rutgers: Hard to say here. I think a coaching change needs to happen, but I'm not sold that the athletic department will go for it. I'm still leaning toward Flood being out after this year though.

Georgia: I think they decide to move from Richt after this year. They grab someone big.

LSU: They'll keep Miles despite some grumbling.

USC: They do the opposite of last time and promote internally.
