Offensive linemen have been an issue and will be getting a ton fo focus when spring drills start next week. We now have some extra scholarships to pass around and hopefully we will land some transfer help. In the past, Coach Gill has been reluctant to accept FBS transfers. He has taken in only a handful. But I suspect the sudden surge in scholarships will give him more flexibility.

I agree with this assessment for the most part. Calvert was a 3 star if I remember correctly and he started as a true freshman. He has great potential and I have no worries about him being FBS material. He just needs to realize his potential.

I also agree about needing offensive linemen. FBS schools generally have more depth due to the extra scholarships instead of more talent and that is most evident in the trenches. It is a pity that Liberty has been rather poor at OL lately. With our great facilities and strength training program, we really fall short in the Big South.
