I sat through the TMo Motivational game when we were playing a winless Georgia State, it was 10 degrees outside, there were 15 people in the stands, and it took Mohajir basically giving a motivational speech at halftime to spare us a disaster of a loss.

This was worse. The wind was nuts. Consistently 20-30 MPH was gusts as high as 60. The temperature dropped 25 degrees from kickoff to the end of the game, and you couldn't get away with more than a few minutes before the wind would kick up some debris and blow it in your face.

Completely changed game planning as well. You could tell the plan was, hold the ball as long as possible, and don't throw or kick voluntarily against the wind. We went for it on 4th down twice in the Red Zone when we normally would have kicked a field goal. Playcalling was heavy run, even when run clearly wasn't working. It was just a difficult game to watch. We won because in the end, the Bobcats just didn't have the horses to compete, and they sort of gave us 14 free points.

Oh well, on to ULM. Definition of a trap game with a road game at a good team with Troy waiting on the horizon.
