I cannot remember the details, but I heard a pundit (FWIW) state that the process he is using indicates reviving a version of the XFL.

The NFL is losing viewers and interest and perhaps he sees an opportunity worth the risk. The vested and entrenched interests will not be pleased and it will be fun watching and reading their reaction.

Right but that was before Jerry Richardson announced he was selling the Panthers. Remember McMahon is from North Carolina.

If he wants to restart the XFL he will have been planning for a while before now. His head won’t have been turned by the Panthers. Idk what he’s doing but he wouldn’t change his mind because of the panthers
