Nah because there aren’t enough other schools in the gulf south for us to play. Makes way more sense for ECU because they can very easily build a full schedule that wouldn’t require absurd travel and cost.

This is a map that shows why Tulane won’t be starting a program any time in the foreseeable future... you need other D1 schools within 700 miles to actually play.

Given that Denver and Marquette have been the two most successful programs in the Big East on the men's side (by the way, that's an outdated map of men's programs, not women's lacrosse), I don't think that's actually true. I have a hard time believing that something that's entirely successful for Denver is totally out of reach for Tulane, hockey excepted.
