Other notes:

-Oklahoma State has fallen off the pace a little bit.

-TCU is looking pretty solid though.

-Someone finally cracked the $200M mark and it was Texas. Amazing to think they're not even getting full market value right now because of their conference affiliation.

-I wonder if Michigan State is going to take a hit in the coming years?

-If occurs to me that the PAC numbers really aren't so bad. Their problem is that they don't have enough powers within a reasonable geographic grasp.

No all power schools are not in the top 65. I only listed the power schools because I had to look up the values of each school individually and I wasn't gong to take another couple of hours to look up the rest. I did look up the strongest two from last year and B.Y.U. would have placed 64th with $67,733,712 but UConn would have placed even higher at 54th with $83,374,163.

When I do this for everyone each year it takes about 4 to 5 hours to put it together. So no I don't look at schools that the previous year would not have placed because the gap has been widening. B.Y.U. gained 1 spot year over year and UConn slid down 4 more. But that means they are still better earners than 11 P5 schools where as B.Y.U. only out earns the last two positions which if B.Y.U. and UConn were in wouldn't be in the P5. This year that was a newcomer, Iowa State and a school that is there every year, Wake Forest.

FYI you can download the data sets in spreadsheet format direct from the department of education. Saves a lot of time vs. looking up each school individually.
