Not to mention with TWD the basic storyline has followed the comics and it was well known the path would lead down this road eventually.

I like The Force Awakens as pure entertainment in a place with which we are familiar and with characters we grew up knowing. Nothing will ever satisfy some of the people who have an idea how they'd like things to go. But rather than create their own story that follows that path they just **** all over someone else's life work. 40 years the Star Wars Universe has been a part of our culture. I hope it never ends.
