I've come to the conclusion that expecting any type of consistency or good story telling is hit or miss due to the fact that there are multiple storytellers in this universe. It's not like Tolkien and his world where his vision is in the body of works.

I think TFA and TLJ are bonafide Disney films. Full of cinematics, CGI, social justice warriors, and relevance. If you like all of those bundled in the star wars universe then Disney Star Wars is great for you. To me, the Disney Star Universe has a big asterisk next to it.

I'll continue to see these as I like the star wars world but there is a lot to be desired.
