Anyone who is the coach next year is going to have an uphill climb, ask coastal carolina(who won their FCS division 3 years straight with 10 plus wins and is now 1-8 in FBS). Joe Moglia is a fantastic coach whos team barely lost to Arkansas last week.

7-4 in the Big South isn't special. Stony Brook and Coastal Carolina are no longer in the conference and have moved up. Liberty was more competitive with them in the conference then they are now with lesser schools. Liberty is getting worse, not better under Gill's leadership. Sure we beat Baylor, but lost to St. Francis. How does that happen? Poor coaching.

Also, if 2018 is his last season under contract, we must make a decision this offseason. You can't have a lame-duck coach. Recruits won't commit to a coach that has no years left on his deal.
