This is an article quoting McCaw and others on the whole Baylor situation. The whole thing sounds so toxic and I don't want anything to do with anyone involved. But since McCaw defends Briles, it would appear that he would hire him again.

It is toxic, but wrongful actions is no way to “handle the situation.” I believe there’s still questions for Briles and McCaw, but the investigation was poorly done and sketchy that I believe that both men deserve redemption. I think Briles would be an interesting coach, but I’m not sure if McCaw would hire him. I could be wrong on this; others believe it could be Hugh Freeze as well haha. The bottom line is that TG should not have another season after the 2018 season just based on his record. Although this is a logical position, they might keep him based on high ups in favor of him(TG).
