Agreed. From an outsiders perspective, I think he is more of an enigma than a proven good or proven bad, coach.

I think it has more to do with the fact that he's done about the same as Tulsa since his championship with more recruiting talent than Tulsa has ever had. How many 4 or 5 star players have been on Ollie's teams and what has he done with all that talent? Since the Championship run with Calhoun's players, he's reached one NCAA tournament.

Let me take out the 2014 season.

NCAA Tournament Wins 2015-2017:

WSU: 4
Cincinnati: 2
UCONN: 1

Tulsa: 0
SMU: 0
Temple: 0
Memphis: 0
Houston: 0
Tulane: 0
ECU: 0
UCF: 0
USF: 0

Yet Ollie's the one underachieving in this league... 01-wingedeagle

Tulsa has certainly been in contention in the league at just about the same rate as UConn, and Tulsa has done it with 2 and 3 star players vs. UConn's 4 and 5 stars.
