Being serious.....what is desirable about that conference for Clemson besides Georgia Tech and South Carolina? It's road trips to mostly small venues and lackluster fanbases and empty visitors sections at home games except for the GT and VT games.

Culturally that is a pretty homogeneous group (with the exception of Kentucky).
Why would that group be appealing to Clemson? It's almost the same folks that you have shared conference with since 1953. Are you saying that Clemson fans have been miserable for over 60 years but have failed to do anything about it?
In all of my trips to Clemson, I am not aware of a single time, that Carolina didn't sell out our allotment, although I can't speak for any of the other schools.
I don't find you level of animosity toward the ACC in any of my Clemson associations in Greensboro or the contacts I have with some Clemson faculty.
