Being serious.....what is desirable about that conference for Clemson besides Georgia Tech and South Carolina? It's road trips to mostly small venues and lackluster fanbases and empty visitors sections at home games except for the GT and VT games.

XLance always seems to want to strip the football schools from the ACC and load it with basketball schools.

IMO, it would have been much easier if UNC had simply joined the Big East - they don't even sponsor FBS football.

Well, Carolina does lead the ACC in National Championships won (43), has won more ACC championships (with the exception of Maryland) than any other school in the ACC , and even more incredibly: Carolina has more top 10 finishes in the Director's Cup standings than the rest of the ACC combined (including Notre Dame).

How many in football? You know, the central theme of the post string you quoted.
