What about Gonzaga? Mind you, I'm not necessarily comparing WSU to Gonzaga. Just a general question.

I don't consider Gonzaga to be one either.

Me either. Maybe my definition of national power is too narrow or needs to be refined. In reality you can probably limit the pool of national powers to about 10 or so schools.
