6 is fine for UC. Probably exactly what they are. 1-3 are obvious... After that you can make a case for a lot of teams. Kenpom has it Duke, Cincinnati Michigan State (BIG GAP) then several others. Sagarin has it Michigan State (decent gap), Kansas, Cincinnati, West Virginia Duke then several others. Xavier probably isn't as good as their ranking, but their wins and the fact that they've managed to pull out every one of their close games late has made their ranking completely reasonable. Xavier is 8-0 in games decided by 7 points or less. That is an insane stat. It's why their kenpom luck number is so high. They've literally won every close game they've had.
