Actually there was one wife did have a restraining order against Porter. There was a police report, and court proceedings that it pops up on the FBI radar.

IMO, there are two things in civil law that people completely lose all sense of ethics and fairplay: land distputes and divorce. Forget the normal parameters of rational human thinking, all rules of society are ignored.
