Gottfried was chased out of bama and NCST after having back to back bad seasons. He is my least favorite candidate out of all the ones mentioned by a long shot. Please not to Gottfried.

Mark Gottfried - 11 NCAA tournament appearances, 4 NIT appearances in 20 seasons

Tom Crean - 9 NCAA tournament appearances, 4 NIT appearances in 18 seasons

Jeff Lebo - 0 NCAA tournament appearances, 2 NIT appearances in 20 seasons

Just saying. Gottfried would be a HUGE upgrade over Lebo, and I'm not convinced Crean would do any better at ECU than Gottfried -- especially considering Gottfried has more experience recruiting the area.
