So going forward we probably see-
P5, Big East, AAC, MWC and then everyone else. Huge gulf between those 8 and the next group(which would be A10, MVC maybe, and that's really about it).

Thats why I think it's right now just the Zags to offset FB only Hawaii. They're the only ones mentioned by name so to me they are the ones that have both been receptive and have the votes to get an invite. There could be holdouts to going past 12 in both sports. The Zags bring money to the table and don't cost much. They don't touch the CFP pay off to the G5 conferences, they only get a sliver of what the other members get from TV money and they will bring NCAA credits to the conference from future tourny appearances. It's a no brainer to the MWC. For the Zags they get into a better conference and play in some real arenas.

And yes, now this consolidation of top schools in the top 8 conferences could lead to some sort of split in divisions.
