GCU getting back to non-profit status will get them into the WCC.

Seattle is a Jesuit school, so that gives them many WCC votes. Portland needs a travel partner.

GCU gets considered if BYu is gone. Cal Baptist might be considered after it completes its DI transition.

There has been no travel partner for UP. But I do see Stever20 point about keeping 18 conference games. Still think they may not replace or they will take their time to replace since they thrive on NCAA credits and having 1 less team to split will benefit.

Gonzaga has been UP's travel partner. For other sports, that is critical.

There are no travel partners in the WCC. Look at the schedule, none follow the travel partners. BYU, San Diego and GU are all outliers with no close school by them.

Was not referring to mbb. Portland and Gonzaga are travel partners in sports like vb. That is important for keeping minor sports travel down.

San Diego is only a bus ride away for LA area teams. BYU is a plane ride for everbody in all WCCsports..
